We do the best we can to engage in our flavors of kink as safely and consensually as we possibly can. Because at the end of the day we're all just humans in communities, and that's all we can do. Just keep trying to do better. Just keep trying to educate and teach and support and love and understand

Our community is no different than any other; we vet newcomers through engagement, through the slow and steady progression of time, through how they interact with others, through how they're talked about. The difference here is nobody is teaching kayfabe. There's no guide, no rules, no expectation

How can we sit here and look at people who've never heard the term "kayfabe" before and talk down to them? Exclude them? Blame them when they don't understand what's going on? I was explicitly taught about kayfabe through exposure to the irl kink community, but certainly not everyone has that!
