There are kink parties I've heard of in my local community that have ended with funerals and jail time. There are kink parties I've heard of halfway across the world that make news headlines. How is it any different here? Things go wrong no matter where you go. We just do our best to do better.

We do the best we can to engage in our flavors of kink as safely and consensually as we possibly can. Because at the end of the day we're all just humans in communities, and that's all we can do. Just keep trying to do better. Just keep trying to educate and teach and support and love and understand

Our community is no different than any other; we vet newcomers through engagement, through the slow and steady progression of time, through how they interact with others, through how they're talked about. The difference here is nobody is teaching kayfabe. There's no guide, no rules, no expectation
