Not one channel interviewed 16-18 year olds actually in the workplace or in apprenticeships, paying tax. I suspect the answers on whether giving them a vote or not would’ve been much different. 000

Evan Davis @evandavis.uk · 18/07/2025The argument that some 16-17 year olds don’t understand politics enough to vote is flawed. Using the same argument, there are people of all ages that probably shouldn’t vote either, but they can… if they want to. And in any case, voting isn’t compulsory. 000
