Japanese has now been added to the list of languages supported by the Museum of All Things!! Thank you so much @w-uozato-karp98.bsky.social !! (although there are some mysterious godot performance issues using non-latin, which I am still trying to resolve, any help is welcome haha)

Is it possible you are using a font without Japanese characters? If so, Godot will rely on the fallback system font, which can cause performance issues (try setting up Godot to use a fallback font with JP characters, like Noto Sans Japanese). Possible relevant issue: github.com/godotengine/...

I think that's probably the issue, but I attempted to add a fallback to the fonts I was using and it didn't seem to fix the issue: github.com/m4ym4y/museu... I might have just missed something causing it to fall back
