Text: Armina recently inherited the Blackblood, a semitruck that smuggles illegal magical artifacts across the Arachnida Desert. Plagued by the lingering feelings she has for her ex-girlfriend and co-captain, Valaina, Armina struggles to keep her small operation afloat in a country that hates magic.

Text:Her complicated circumstances become far worse when she finds Canto, a violent criminal mage, stowing away aboard her truck. Canto has just escaped a death sentence and is on the run from the Huntsmen, the militaristic “peace-keeping” order responsible for the arrest and detainment of mages. Not content with their own tentative freedom, Canto asks for Armina’s help rescuing their mother from the Huntsmen headquarters where she’s being held captive.

Text: Hesitent to agree to such a dangerous heist when her own livelihood is already in peril, Armina agrees only to take Canto as far west as she feels comfortable. That is until Renn, a prodigy Huntsman, tracks them down, revealing that the Huntsmen are already on their trail. Armina must decide whether her personal safety---and her lingering feelings for Valaina---are more important than facing a cruel regime to save a single innocent life.
