Why not ... One like = One opinion about Star Trek (Ok, guess I have a couple of opinions, maybe even three 🙄)

1. Star Trek is fundamentally a collaborative project. Gene R is important: he started it, he is the author of the main concept, and the inventor of the format. But his ideas don't trump other creators' ideas, his work don't invalidate other's works, and his opinion isn't paramount (ba dum tss).

For me Star Trek is less "action adventure in an accomplished utopia" and more "exploration of human condition in a hopeful future". Of course Trek is (and can be) about a lot of things, but most of my favorite stories contain the second thing.
