💿 Listening to: Headless Cross by Black Sabbath (1989) I have a soft spot for this rather obscure, yet great period in Sabbath catalog. With Tony Martin on vocals and Cozy Powell on drums, latter clearly having a big impact on songwriting. #ListeningTo #BlackSabbath

Music remained melodic and rather heavy, while lyrics became even darker and occult as ever. Yet it has this very Rainbow-esque and Witesnake-y commercial feeling to it. A very enjoyable combination for my taste. 🎵 Misguided mortals, you'll burn with me 🎵 Spirit of man, cannot be freed.
