Update: currently on-foot in Castaic. Decided to try to book one of those short-term U-haul vans since the pickup/drop off is close to the mechanic. Unfortunately the app picked a van that is blocked in and there’s no humans around to fix that, so now we’re on hold.

Got a tow down the mountain and eventually got a mechanic to look at it. Radiator’s got a big crack in it, and the juices have all spewed out!
