This is beautifully written. And your nephew sounds like a smart guy but also a selfish one who votes for a guy he knows is bad if his very specific concerns aren’t addressed and if the very few Democrats in Nebraska don’t personally drive to his place. The 9 miles you drove isn’t very far.

Love the writing. The picture of the barn floor and oak chairs and tractor laid out for surgery. And agree on the anti trust and labeling beef in particular. I have knocked doors with local candidates. Would it help if I visited the panhandle with some Jamison?

It's beautifully written, but that's a lot of words to explain how someone can justify voting for a criminal, insurrectionist traitor if given even obvious lies about economic and trade policy.

Your writing is beautifully prosaic. I could smell the hay. I understand his issues. I would be furious at John Deere too. Just like he is pissed that no one has addressed his specific concerns over the years, he seems to also not care about the other issues plaguing the urban part of the country.
