I read a thing from a Rockstar suit about GTA6's refueling which they defended on the basis that it only takes ten seconds. If it only takes ten seconds why bother including it at all? "Because realism". But it takes more than ten seconds in RL, so it isn't realistic, so again, why did you bother?
