If your manager didn't bother to provide you a work phone, no one deserves to have your number... When I was younger, HR gave my personal mobile phone number to the CFO, only for urgent issue, the dude called me on a sunday morning because he wasn't able to telework... Never again !

I never give out my real number. A prior job’s PagerDuty pinging me constantly for 6 months is the reason why. They refused to respond to me to remove it. I changed that number which was a PITA. Jobs now get a Google Fi number I rotate each job.
