Is any of this shit being remedied retroactively? I mean... all well and good to have it pointed out for the record... But the Nobel people - presumably they now KNOW the facts... So -

They could do it for her and lots of others. Also, the “no posthumous prizes” stuff (relevant for recognizing women like Vera Rubin) is made up. It’s a “rule” the committee added in recent history, which they themselves have violated more than once.

No, the Nobel committee has no intention of rectifying this. But she DID win the Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics in 2018, which put US$3 million in her pocket. Which she immediately donated to a fund to help women, ethnic minority, and refugee students who want to study physics.
