Andres Karjus @andreskarjus.bsky.social · 16/05/2025We learned during semester how trivial it is to fake any data now - get chatgpt to code a numeric data generator or have it do "interviews", field data etc. These are smart students and get that they shouldn't do it (also many got jobs &realize reputation risks). But educators need to wake up asap. 120

I heavily rely on empirical data as a way to make sure students actually wrote their papers (that and spelling errors, and that particular wooden style). What would you suggest? Please don't say handwritten, in-class exams... 200
