Two different views of Djúpalónssandur on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western #Iceland, taken in Feb 2025.

A beach of black pebbles taken from a very low angle. A small plane of the pebbles is in focus in the middle, with the others surrounding it blurred and looking golden in the late afternoon sun.

A big wave comes crashing in on a steep black pebbly beach, with the spray floating up the beach across some jagged stacks.
