The authoritarian destruction of democracy in action. This is one of many reasons why removing Trump is only part 1 of dismantling American authoritarianism.

A necessary subsequent action is absolutely to massively expand the federal judiciary, packing it with left-of-center judges. After all, the solution to pollution is dilution. Giving federal judges the power to suspend their colleagues by majority vote would also be a great subsequent addition.

Project 2025 wants to embed loyalists into government bureaucracies/agencies. These would be a lot more difficult to remove compared to elected officials, and these people would exert tremendous influence in terms of setting agendas for the nation and how the nation is governed.
