We’ve analyzed the video frame-by-frame. Fmr. NYPD Lt. Darrin Porcher says Alex Pretti was “in no way, shape, or form” presenting a threat to officers when he was killed by federal agents #velshi

Training isn't the issue. Jonathan Ross has 8 years on the job, was part of an elite squad, & was a firearms trainer. I fear our electeds think if they jump on the better training mantra all will be well. At this point better training means being more effective at causing terror and harm to people.

Thx for this analysis and not letting this go but… ICE ARE NOT TRAINED OFFICERS!!! Period Police officers go through minimal training and ICE is basically getting none. And you really need to look at it clearly, ICE has been told to murder US citizens, if you do, it all makes sense….NO?!?!

The fact that they all feared for their lives, is what is going to get them exonerated. There will be no charges and no consequences. How much you want to bet?

000

richie007.bsky.social @richie007.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

The fact that Alex was carrying a is what got him killed. Because once the ice agents saw the gun and yelled "gun, gun" that's when the other ice agent, probably peed his pants, pulled his gun out and then shot him in the back. And then fearing for their lives they shot him 9 more times.

This is great, far better use than a gratuitous re-showing of the video. You learn what you need to know from this. Someone died, a family is hurt and devastated, his colleagues and community are bewildered, angry and scared. Educate, don't trigger unnecessarily. Terrible times.

Shout out to Prof Darrin Porcher who served in the Army as well as NYPD. As I attended John Jay College, forensics. His analysis was spot on. The wisdoms of Edmund Locard forensic principle; "Whatever he touches, whatever he leaves, even unconsciously, will serve as a silent witness against him"

Watch the video that was shot from across the street. When the guy who took the gun starts crossing in front of the dark grey/black car you can see him starting to crouch down. He is hiding from cameras. It’s the curvature of his back. He is using that car as a shield.
