The Farm Bill draft released by the Senate does not do enough to stop the dangerous and inhumane HR1 cuts to SNAP. Call your senators (especially if they are on the agriculture committee!) and demand a two year delay in the cost shift at a bare minimum; we really need complete reversal.
@sharonparrott.bsky.socialFortunately, there is still time to improve this proposal. Recognizing the unfolding hunger crisis and the need delay the cost shift for all states is an important first step, but the urgency of this crisis demands a stronger response. Kids in this country deserve better.
