This is the funniest thing I’ve read all week, made all the better by this person literally listing five characters in a reply

A cropped post from twitter saying:
“iv read at most 300+ bl atp and i can name maybe 5 characters who are canonically gay, and even fewer who are bi, pan, trans, the hundreds of others are all ‘im straight but’ it should not be a huge ask or ‘woke’ for characters to be Igotq in a genre about men making out.”

The trans part is legit, but if you can’t find more than 5 explicitly gay characters in bl, I am very sorry that you somehow managed to get yourself stuck in 2005

They later clarified that they meant not characters who just don’t explicitly say they’re gay, but characters who are explicitly straight. What are you reading??
