Half the people I know who use bikes spend $10 a year on brake pads, but the other half spend $1000 a month on new teflon wheel rims or whatever and also replace the bike every year because it got nicked, so I reckon on average it works out
@qagggy.bsky.socialBikes are an economic disaster. The only things I bought for my bike in the past year were brake pads. At this rate, how are corporations going to make money? How are they going to buy politicians? How will I ever go into debt? Who are we going to bomb? The whole foundation of our economy is shot.
