I mostly read non-fiction, which AI is notoriously bad at. But I suppose AI could imitate lower-rung hack fiction writers.

I wanted to read “The Feather Detective” recommended in a list of books by NPR so I looked for it on Amazon. First result had shockingly bad reviews so I read the reviews. It was an AI book put together quickly to cash in on the real book. So a real person spent many months researching & writing
