Rodger Sherman @rodger.bsky.social · 27/07/2026instead we are publishing the first ever edition of TADEJ IN SPORTS!sports.beehiiv.comTadej in Sports! The cycling GOAT?We're finally celebrating the Tour de France, which Tadej Pogačar effectively ended two weeks ago. Matt @mjacksongt.bsky.social · 27/07/2026Have we reached GOAT saturation? Is there something that makes GOATs more likely? We're living in an era with up to 4 likely GOATs still competing in highly followed world sports (Messi, Djokovic, Pogacar, James) and that seems like a lot? 100
TheLastGonzo @skolgonzo.bsky.social · 27/07/2026My great concern with cycling is the history of doping. I presume the advances riders are making are related to peptides & not traditional “doping.” I think cycling should be more open about that & make a clear assertion about why peptides are different than other performance enhancing drugs. 201
Rodger Sherman @rodger.bsky.social · 27/07/2026Lmaoooooooo this is so goodMatt S@mattsouva.bsky.social"I (po)gačar in the first half, didn't I?" -Rodger, probably 0411
Niels Grotum @ngrotum.bsky.social · 27/07/2026The race for yellow was over when Vingegaard broke his collar bone on stage 15 (not that he had more than an outside chance before that). They are the clear 1 and 2, but mostly set in that order. The Tour is still a lot of races within one race though: secondary placements, jerseys, stage wins, etc. 010
darinchristensen.bsky.social @darinchristensen.bsky.social · 27/07/2026Hey Rodger isn’t there a world championship for odd ball sports held in Birmingham Alabama every year could you cover that 101
Brock @sobiesk2.bsky.social · 28/07/2026Is it wrong that I assume he’s cheating somehow that we haven’t figured out yet? 320
It’s me, your pal @yourpalirl.bsky.social · 27/07/2026“Pogačar’s status as the greatest ever on two wheels seems secure.” Tadej’s in rarefied air for sure, but he has a ways to go before his overall resume surpasses Merckx’s, IMO. 001
Matt S @mattsouva.bsky.social · 27/07/2026"I (po)gačar in the first half, didn't I?" -Rodger, probably 0190
