walking around my NYC neighborhood last night, I kept thinking about how I just can’t shake my love for America and the people who choose to live in America. We’re worth fighting for. Part of what’s frustrating about this moment is the people in charge clearly don’t feel that way at all

Come to FL and your mood will sour quickly. Mind blowing just how many ppl are still in this cult with their “Go Brandon”, “Trump - Take back America” and the stupid “Don’t Tread on me” flags flying high on like 25% of the carts in our local parade yesterday.

I think it was NPR that did a thing a few years ago where they asked ppl to come up with a new 6-word US motto, and the winning entry was “our harshest critics prefer to stay.” IDK why but it think about that a lot these days!
