PT Klein @ptklein.com · 14/01/2025I simply refuse to live in a world where we make fun of Madonna for rapping in American Life but the entirety of Emilia Perez exists 2024413
Mayorthirsty @mayorthirsty.bsky.social · 14/01/2025Who is making fun of American Life? I’m ready to fight 000
Teresa Vértiz @terevertiz.bsky.social · 14/01/2025I’m Mexican and I don’t understand how a French director that knows nothing about my country’s problems as he personally admitted, dares to film such a terrible abomination! And I love Selena Gomez but she really destroys our beautiful language! 130
Danna🩷 @131danna.bsky.social · 14/01/2025emilia perez is a literal joke can’t believe it won any golden globe awards 😂 040
The Beardazzler 🇵🇷 @thebeardazzler.bsky.social · 14/01/2025PS - I'll always defend the album American Life. except Madonna's "rapping", if you can even call it that. it's talk singing. I work in music, I have to. ;) 110
The Beardazzler 🇵🇷 @thebeardazzler.bsky.social · 14/01/2025I honestly only got through maybe ten minutes of Emilia Perez. it just felt like it was trying to do too many things and failing at all of them. awards are just a sham these days anyway. it's truly sad. maybe they stood for something when we were kids but now... 110
kraytonish.bsky.social @kraytonish.bsky.social · 14/01/2025I always thought of Madonna's rap in AL as self parody. In content and delivery. And to take it seriously was a mistake. 🤷 But I do really like that album and Intervention is a beautiful track. 130
David Kocik @davidkocik.bsky.social · 14/01/2025I haven't seen Emilia Perez but I have a feeling I'm drinking a soy latte I get a double shot-ay is less cringe than any lyric in that movie 350
davi @davidasilva.bsky.social · 14/01/2025A Madonna defense tweet is how I know we’re from different gay generations xo 040
benji (moon’s dad) @benjiarmi.bsky.social · 14/01/2025That verse goes so hard on the Finally Enough Love remix 040
Scary Jerry @coachjerry.dad · 14/01/2025I’m unlikely to see this movie but I will defend American Life with my whole body 150
Phil Goode @jimfricke.bsky.social · 15/01/2025Idk who that is…Madonna been on some weirdo shit for a while now you gotta admit…the BBL…cmon 000
vikishere.bsky.social @vikishere.bsky.social · 14/01/2025That is spot on. I'm befuddled by the level of award attention this movie is getting. 110
James 💙 Miller 😈🤘🚵♀️ @thejamesmiller.bsky.social · 14/01/2025We couldn't make it through the first 10 minutes of that. It wasn't made for us. 🤷♂️ 000
