Yup- that will work great, because AI is so trustworthy about understanding unique individual things. It’s called HUMAN Resources for a reason.

'cause of course he did. You can choose to pay people for their work, or you can choose to pay a company for their profits. It's a mindset. Dems pay people to participate in society, GOP pays companies to make a profit. Winning (blue) states pay people. Red (loser) states pay corps for their profits

AI HR - Artificial Intelligence Human Resources? I won’t talk to a computer because they aren’t capable of things like much needed answers. They’re only capable of what they’re programmed to do.

I guess DOGE has thrown out the FARs (Federal Acquisition Regulations).

Part of the plan to privatize the US government. Guaranteed to cost more, and if you do end up talking to a real human being, they will be on a different continent.

I'm a Federal annuitant. OPM does not 'handle' retirements. The employing agency's Personnel Office does. Boyers, PA does the paperwork & it IS ON PAPER. OPM doesn't handle employee records. Employee records are handled by the emp. agency's PO. OPM is not the govt Personnel Office.

Made-Up Words Trick AI Text-To-Image Generators

Specially crafted patterns can fool face recognition systems. So one scientist designed special nonsense words to see whether they could trick text-to-image generators.

Wonder what percent is the profit? Also…no bid contracts must be justified per FAR, but this would never pass muster. I hope some other companies that would have bid on this requirement will protest (per FAR, if there is an opening).

The problem is less no-bid but rather the absence of statutory prohibition on privatizing the workforce. If the function was previously carried out by a civil servant then it should always be so absent a congressional authorization to privatize it.
