If you are willing to admit we are in a housing crisis, everything should be on the table. If you don’t want more housing in neighborhoods, than neighborhood golf courses or neighborhood water parks or neighborhood race tracks should be part of the convo.
Just stating for the record that we can (and prob should!) meet Nashville’s housing needs with zero greenfield development, and I think building on public open space is arguably that.
I think we’re not engaging with what it actually looks like to meet our housing needs in existing developed area.
