When you commission an artist, do you like it when they post that art? I feel so anxious sharing art I have done for other people. I am scared that people won't like it or that I will misrepresent them or or or... ANXIETY. It's why I have been so shy to post things for literal years.

My therapist likes to remind me. I am only in control of my own actions and responces, how other people react is out of my control. I love your art and would love to see more of it. I might not love every piece of art I've comissioned, but I helped make it exist, and that is enough some times.

I love it when they do! Especially if they write a little detail or two about it or something little to go with it. I actually find it concerning when they don't. It makes me wonder if they didn't like it, my characters, working with me, etc. But that's just me!

Absolutely! Even if something isn’t necessarily up my alley, I really enjoy seeing what people create and commission to be created.

I've had commissioners get mad at me for NOT posting their commission xD (for whatever reason, maybe I hadn't gotten around to it yet, or was going to collect it as a group)

I would *love* to see the artist I've commissioned to draw something for me to share it in their various galleries and social media pages! =^.^= Now, if only I could afford to do this...

Something that might mitigate this anxiety could be a checkbox or quick ask if they’re okay with it being posted. If they’re not comfortable with it that’s on them to disclose, but prompting the question might help

Yes. Mainly because I don't feel comfortable posting art I did not create. I want to link to the artist, not me. This is one of the reasons I like the Collections feature on Weasyl. I wish FA could do something similar.

Yeah! I like it when the artist posts it themselves - lets me be able to repost/retweet/what-have-you on social media, or when I post the art myself to a gallery site (like FA), I can link back to the artist's post

I /always/ love to see an artist post commissions I have gotten from them! And I do my best to comment on their postings! (And link back to them if I can)
