Great news, Shepherds of Good Hope is making their building at 216 Murray Street available as a warming centre 24/7 during the extreme cold. Thankful to all of our community partners who are stepping up to make sure everyone has a warm place to go.

Thank-you councillor for raising awareness. Shepherds of Good Hope has also agreed to keep our low barrier drop-in at 216 Murray St. open 24 hrs a day (instead of 16) for Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night of this week. Going forward, we have also agreed to keep it open 24 hrs a day anytime the weather is anticipated to be below -25.

Good news but in a country as wealthy as Canada no one should be unhoused. We need housing first
