Ariel Troster @arieltroster.bsky.social · 07/01/2025I am devastated to find out that a man was found frozen to death yesterday morning on Elgin Street. This is the exact scenario that the city has been working hard to prevent, but this failure is on all of us. 79634

Ariel Troster @arieltroster.bsky.social · 07/01/2025Ending homelessness is our most urgent crisis. I will continue to push the city and all levels of govt to do better. 🎶 I Will Choose Freewill 🇨🇦 @torontokate.bsky.social · 07/01/2025In Toronto we have Street to Homes to go out and make contact with homeless. The problem they can come up against is refusal to accept their help This is what can end up in a death. The refusal. Because they usually have a good deal of success & are trustworthy to those who accept it 010
S1mple N0mad @s1mplen0mad.bsky.social · 08/01/2025Hi Ariel, Holy shit. In ~1999, At that EXACT SAME intersection, our friend literally tripped over a homeless man who had passed out on the sidewalk, and had been buried by the steady snowfall (Ottawa, right?❄️❄️). We called 9-11 immediately, but the overlap is…wow. So basically, nothing has changed. 100
