What an honour tonight to meet Paul Fournier, AKA Peaches Latour. Known as, “Canada’s First Drag Queen,” he survived the LGBT purge in the federal civil service. Paul was awarded the Order of Ottawa tonight. Thank you to Councillor Plante for nominating him and for introducing us. Such a legend!
