The necessity of sticking around.

Still Life photograph depicting a corner of the artist's home desk. Deep navy blue colour is present on the top (fragment of a plastic chair) and the bottom right-hand side (cigarette lighter). Bright electric yellow in the middle of the composition (Stabilo Boss marker highlighter). Greys and silvers pervade. The desk is marbled grey with silver highlights. A closed laptop cover is partly visible in the upper left. Nikon Coolpix 775 and Faber-Castell Castell pencil sharpener add more silver and grey. The black shapes are made of computer mouse, boxed pack of cards, and a screen wipe cloth. One playing card is visible, leaning sideways. It is 7 of Clubs. The 7 of Clubs symbolizes spiritual victory and growth. It represents a quest for higher truth and wisdom. This card is associated with intuition and inspired knowledge. To the left of the photograph, just below the closed laptop, a round-shaped carton beermat is present. Crimson, purple, and gold graphic depicts a young Catholic Bishop. The image represents Green King Brewery's Abbot Ale. In the top right-hand side corner of the photograph, a postcard is visible. It is a funky, pop-artish image. A pinky-grey pencil rubber lies next to the pencil sharpener. On the first plane, next to the computer mouse, Pritt Stick cylinder-shaped paper glue holds the place. It is one of the white accents in this image. There is a folded, used napkin stuck in a small whisky glass, standing next to the edge of the laptop's cover.
