For teachers who want author visits: usually, authors charge, and asking for free visits from authors makes things awkward. One chance you have at free visits is when an author is doing a book tour. #KidlitUK #Edusky 1/2

If you're interested in a particular author, worth checking when their next book is out and contacting the relevant publisher to see if you can hop on a schools tour in launch week or thereabouts. #KidLitUk #Edusky

I live in a Senior Assisted Living facility. I know the residents would just love to have an author visit. I’m going to work on this.
