There's a method called Net Promoter Score that's really stupid but the one idea it gets right is: when the response to your pitch is ambivalence, that's not neutral - that's bad.

Let's imagine another response: "yeah it's nice, it's cool. I like it." Positive, right? We can validate our idea? Of course it's negative! Were you not paying attention? "I like it" doesn't count for shit. You're not a shitpost collecting likes. You're trying to sell a product.
