Pavel @spavel.bsky.social · 09/05/2025In fact, the slice of the experience Figma chose to focus on spurns both areas of focus. The code generated is completely trash *and* lacks any kind of support for semantic inputs. The only thing it's good at is for layout makers to make layouts that stakeholders can "approve" or "validate." 3180
Pavel @spavel.bsky.social · 09/05/2025This, I think, is the worst part of the experience for me. This is Figma's vote for what "the future of design" looks like, and the thing they are voting for is the state of the art in 2008. 3341
Jack Garfinkel @curiousscutter.bsky.social · 10/05/2025Yeah, this might not have to be awful as a higher fidelity alternative to InVision. Bit even in 2008 I think it would have been used as an alternative to Dreamweaver 🥲 000
Ramil Muratov @muratov.space · 13/05/2025Genuine question, as I have not yet seen their presentation. Did they specifically say that a11y doesn't matter or that their new tool does not support it? 000
