Moths in a human suit (they/them) @lycomorpha.bsky.social · 31/08/2025For the last day of #InverteFest, a thread of things that have visited my moth trap that aren't moths. 1. This friggin adorable ectemnius wasp. Look at its cute boxy little head. Delightful. 216921
Moths in a human suit (they/them) @lycomorpha.bsky.social · 31/08/20252. Shield bugs, AKA stink bugs (which is rude, but I think it's because some of them can exude a noxious liquid in defense.) Specifically green, red-legged, and hawthorn shield bugs. I love these critters, which is good given quite a lot of them drop by. #InverteFest 2571
Moths in a human suit (they/them) @lycomorpha.bsky.social · 31/08/20253. We get a range of spiders in the egg trays. They seem very optimistic, given the size difference between them and most moths. Maybe there's small gnats visiting for them to eat that I don't see, though. #InverteFest 2400
Castor 🪲 COMMS OPEN @hamletisintown.bsky.social · 31/08/2025I loveeeeee shield bugs! They have cute little leggies and cute litle antennae and big round stupid looking eyes and they are always very chill and polite when they visit. 10/10 bug. 010
