Good morning from this buff tip moth doing its best twig impression. 🦋🐾 I really need to find a birch twig somewhere so I can have the kind of twig it's mimicking to compare.

Side view of a delightful twig mimicking buff tip moth perched on the end of a non-matching twig. It holds itself with it's wings closed, looking very cylindrical and twig shaped. It's wings are a silvery birch bark grey, with buff patches on its face and wing tips to look like the wood inside a broken twig. My apologies to the poor moth for my lack of matching twigs.

Face on view of the utterfuckingly lovely buff tip moth from the previous image. You can just about make out its round black eyes, but mostly from the front it appears flat, like the end of an albeit fuzzy broken twig. Its buff coloured fuzz, with a halo of brown and grey, like the wood and then bark of a birch twig. A+ camo moth pal

Top down view of the adorable little buff tip moth from the previous images. Yes, it's still looking twig like, grey and mottled like bark with its eponymous buff tips. I cannot impress on you enough what a good, 11 out of 10, A+ twig moth pal this is.

Also it's still furious grass veneer season. Look at rage in its lil eyes! (Furious garden grass veneer here, I think. But don't quote me, micromoth ID is trouble.)

A tiny wedge-shaped micro moth, with it's apricot coloured wings folded, round blue eyes, wirey black antennas, and and an expression of pure rage on its tiny face.

A close up on the tiny wedge shaped moth from the previous image, to show how absolutely livid it seems. I know, I'm anthropomorphising here, but the way its antennas sit above its eyes make them look like furious eyebrows.
