Really find it objectionable to hear an Englishman calling 'Scottish Independence a threat to this country' on LBC 🙄 Scottish Independence isn't a threat to his country. If it was a Union of true equals why the feck does he want to keep people shackled against their will 🙄 How daft can you get🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m English by birth, Scottish by choice. Have seen independence from both sides. When in England, it is very hard to see the truth. You are virtually brainwashed into these ways of thinking. You know we need to keep Scotland, but don’t know why, so you end up thinking all kinds of crap!!

If just 8% of the population of the UK Union leaving is a threat to the union, then Scotland must be far richer and far more important than we have been led to believe. The EU survived when the UK left. There is no threat. England is afraid of independence: their own.

There was never any union of equals. The union was a royal command to create a unified kingdom as an imperial gift to her Hanoverian family. There was no democracy then, it was monarchic power. Scotland & England were just imperial gifts in a single package
