It's obvious that Kat Jones involvement in the 2024 administration has to end immediately to protect the remaining bit of integrity the awards have and we all should be writing to the Glasgow administration to remove her if she doesn't resign voluntarily with immediate effect.

One of their reasons for flagging works with “issues” was “LGBT.” Sadly, I think that was the issue. It could have been personal animus, but “LGBT” would have provided a great cover. Yet another way that bigotry poisons everything.

The more I am reading, the more it looks like pure bigotry. It could be a personal grudge too. But it feels like bigotry is going to be the winner. I hope you find out the truth and everyone involved apologizes.
