Those 4 teams in the relegation playoff don’t fill me with confidence. Pot 3 for the World Cup too 😞 Wales get a World Cup playoff safety net too for winning their group. We would have been better served not getting promotion to league A - top league benefits are only really seen for the Euros.

We would not have been in Pot 2 for the last Euros qualifying if we hadn't won our group.

Just seems that the real benefits for Nations League Group A rests with the Euro cycle rather than the World Cup one. It’s more UEFAs structure I’m lamenting. Seems especially egregious that Wales have a WC playoff assured, plus a pot 2 ranking, as a result of playing relatively poorer teams.
