Hans: There were no international investigations at the time. Me: Yes there were. Hans: I used to work as a journalist.

USER WAS BLOCKED FOR THIS POST: Is the implication that you're no longer bound by facts because you're retired?

Hans de Vreij (@vreij.bsky.social): At the moment of the drink, there were absolutely no "international investigations". What there were, were a number of Dutch soldiers who had been taken prisoner by the Serbs, who threatened to execute them. As for the delay in answering Edin: I was busy with something else.

Ovaltine Tranzac (@elvedin.officialawesome.com): The photo is from 1995. The ICTY was established in 1993.

The fact that you are a working journalist is absolutely astounding.

Hans de Vreij (@vreij.bsky.social): I am not a 'working journalist' anymore, but a retired one. FYI: I covered the wars in Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia as a correspondent of the biggest Dutch newspaper from 1991 to 1994. Both in the field and behind my desk in Prague. Also, I never covered ICTY. Bye!
