One thing I love about being a tennis fan is that we're not very tribal. For the most part, we're mostly just rooting for 'more good tennis' I couldn't have asked for more at my us open session today, with Sabalenka winning her third set tiebreaker, and Tiafoe winning his fifth set tiebreaker 💗🎾

My kid absolutely loves wheelchair tennis, especially Hewett & Reid, so we got to enjoy their win as well. Which meant that we didn't walk in to see Tiafoe until nearly the end of the third set... when I noticed so many nonbelievers walking out (their loss) bsky.app/profile/matt...

I was there in person and was shocked at how many people were leaving in the third set... Maybe it's the Knicks energy still hanging in the air, but I was feeling "wtf, this isn't anywhere near over yet."
