They don’t have the bench for it and they’re not gonna tire out their second and third best scorers.
No NBA team has ever sustained it for long into the regular season, but the Lakers picking up this deep in the backcourt is an interesting look. It’s a good way to make teams chew up the shot clock before getting into their sets or isolating weaker defenders. Curious if it sticks.
