I learned this beautiful expression today: ‘Cronaím thú uaim’ which translates as ‘I feel you gone from me’ and is the Irish way of saying I miss you. I thought it conveyed loss and grief more poetically than our English version which sounds a little sterile by comparison even when we mean it deeply
