Sarah Nicolas @sarah-nicolas.bsky.social · 27/05/2026We used a rat model of chronic low-grade hippocampal neuroinflammation by overexpressing IL-1β locally in the hippocampus mimicking the kind of inflammation seen in ageing and neurodegeneration also called «inflammageing ». Rats then had voluntary access to running wheels for several weeks. 🐀🏃 100 0
