In high school, my BFF got me hooked on her soap opera, Guiding Light. Hayden Panettiere played the granddaughter of a villain, and she was so little, probably 6? I haven't watched anything else she was in, but I feel sad for her. I've never heard of a child career actor who made it out unscathed.
