4th June 1970 - Deep Purple released their 4th studio album 'Deep Purple In Rock'. This was the 1st album to feature the classic lineup of - Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice. It was also the 1st heavy rock album I ever heard. I loved "Child in Time." #DeepPurple
