delighted to report the Canadian Rockies are still one of the most beautiful places on earth. the perfect scenery for my final full day of my transcontinental rail journey

as the light began to fade it started to snow quite heavily. bringing the visibility down so much that it was hard to see the other side of the valley sometimes
