Cyriak @cyriak.bsky.social · 06/05/2026After decades of research I am reaching the conclusion that no doorbell or phonecall that ever wakes you up is worth answering. I am prepared to hear evidence to the contrary though 7806
Alexander Polyakov @nolokor.bsky.social · 07/05/2026That’s why you need a new “Doorbell AI” (tm). It’ll engage the caller and filter all the non emergency stuff and send them on their way off. You never slept more peacefully before! “Doorbell AI” already has 100 billion happy customers and the evaluation is in quadrillions. 110
Richie Asimilon @asimilon.net · 06/05/2026Hrvatska Pošta loves delivering things at ungodly hours, so sometimes I don't mind too much. I'd prefer it if they stuck to more reasonable hours of course. 010
🇳 🇺 🇺 🇽 🇮 🇪 @nuuxie.eurosky.social · 06/05/2026I guess it only changes if you have relatives depending on you for emergencies (teenage children and the like) but yeah, other than that, I don't see it. 020
Rob Manuel @robmanuel.b3ta.com · 06/05/2026I'm going to watch replies to this carefully, as anyone presenting evidence to the contrary clearly is someone who I never need to hear from again and I can safely block 030
Centuries of Sound @centuriesofsound.bsky.social · 06/05/2026I'll be round at 4am to present the evidence. 150
bogwash @bogwash.bsky.social · 06/05/2026Only exception I've had is cops waking me up because a public works truck had peeled off my car's bumper turning a corner. they had to knock for a half hour before I answered 040
