So this is the UK in 2026? Actively wishing desperate poor people to die, and not hiding it. Putting it all out in public for people to see... How do we even come back from this? How do we deradicalise and deprogram a proportion of an entire population to return their humanity and empathy?

It makes me despair that this country has gone backwards so quickly, and I think it will get worse before it gets better. Farage and the far right want violence. They want non white people hurt, vilified, and hounded in the name of patriotism. I hate it, but I don't know what to do.

These comments are no surprise to me. I used to hear them all the time from people in work, people in bars, family social events. They only decreased when I pushed back. I am finding it heartbreaking especially when children are being groomed. Rather than go mad, I just have to hold on to the belief that it is a small minority who think this way and many of them just jump on the bandwagon.
