9/25 For the company, that means examining the owner, manager, charterer, cargo seller, buyer and banks. A lawful transaction can still be commercially unacceptable if the ship may be misidentified, threatened or caught in retaliation directed at somebody else.

10/25 Insurance for vessels is not contained in one policy. Hull, cargo and liabilities to crew or third parties involve different covers. War risks may need separate arrangements. Sanctions can also affect whether services or payments are permitted. “The ship is insured” answers very little.
