3/13 That distinction matters because it changes what success looks like. A constabulary operation seeks arrest, evidence and prosecution. A military operation seeks deterrence or strategic effect. Those are not the same thing, even if similar assets are used.

5/13 Those questions are rarely about immigration policy itself. They are about how the state exercises power. Was force necessary? Was rescue prioritised? Was the operation properly planned? Was there an independent investigation afterwards?
